Molewood Orchard

Molewood Orchard in the heart of Greytown sits on some of the most productive agricultural land in New Zealand. The orchard has been growing apples and pears in Greytown for over 30 years.

Long-time Greytown residents Juliet and Ed Cooke returned to operating the Mole Street orchard in 2022, together with son Wendell. Daughter Merran is responsible for marketing and social media, and son Grayson takes care of the website and visual design. The orchard is now run as an independent family business, with the whole family pitching in to support the harvest season.

The orchard opens its gates to the public on weekends from early March until early June for Pick Your Own apples.

AND... WATCH OUT FOR DETAILS for annual events such as the Apple Harvest Festival (March/April) and Apple Blossom Festival (Oct) - always a great day out for the whole family.

The 2025 Apple Harvest Festival at Molewood Orchard will be on Easter Sunday, 20 April. Details coming soon!
