Greytown Lands Trust has nurtured and cultivated the community of Greytown since 1871. Greytown is at our heart. The town, and the prosperity and wellbeing of its people, are central to who we are and what we do.
We are proud to support the Greytown Festival of Christmas. Throughout the month of July, the festival brings such vibrancy, community spirit and a sense of pride to our great town.
The Trust House Foundation extends its support to a diverse array of events and groups spanning the entire Wairarapa region. With six funding rounds conducted annually, the Trustees are delighted to provide grant funding to the Greytown Festival of Christmas.
This event serves as a beacon of joy, illuminating our region and instilling a sense of festive cheer during the winter season.
A lifestyle store that focusses on slow, sustainable living and environmental care, Blackwell and Sons is based on a foundation of cycling as a practical form of transport and leisure.
Alongside beautiful handmade Pashley bicycles and e-bikes, and cycling accessories, Blackwell and Sons offer high quality gardening products, indoor analogue games, outdoor lanterns, picnicware, travel and grooming gear, and a range of locally produced products that celebrate the Wairarapa’s landscapes and lifestyle.
We’re also the retail home of the Greytown Distilling Company with a licenced tasting shed inside the emporium, where you can sample award-winning gins produced right in the heart of Greytown. We delight in the joy and the excitement that hugs the village throughout the Festival of Christmas.
The White Swan Country Hotel, or as locals call it, The Swan, is an iconic country hotel in the heart of Greytown, with a real passion for the Wairarapa region. We celebrate the best of what’s on offer by connecting visitors and locals through our food, beverages, and accommodation.
The Festival of Christmas is an event close to our hearts and we’re right in the centre of it all, offering warm rural hospitality amid many festival events and activities.
The Festival delivers joy and wonder to Greytown village, and each year seems to be even more memorable than the last! It is an absolute pleasure to support and take part in this annual festival.
